Beijing, Islamabad: A few days ago, five Chinese citizens were killed in a suicide attack in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region. This is why China is really confused. It has halted construction of hydropower projects in the restive province, leaving hundreds of workers unemployed. China's Power Construction Corporation has stopped construction work and laid off more than 2,000 employees.

A few days ago, a vehicle loaded with explosives collided with another vehicle in Bishal taluka of Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtwa, causing a massive explosion. The vehicle which was targeted. Five Chinese citizens were also included in these. Pakistani citizens were also with him. No terrorist organization has taken responsibility for this blast, but it is clear that this attack has been carried out by some terrorist group.

It is noteworthy that for the last few years, Chinese citizens are being attacked in Pakistan. Many Chinese citizens have died in this. Most of the attacks took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and Balochistan. Although the local people of Balochistan are against the Pakistan government, China is investing there.

After this attack, Pakistan also gave an official statement. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan and China are close friends. Therefore, we have no doubt that this attack must have been carried out by the enemies of China-Pakistan friendship. However, the perpetrators of these attacks will be found and prosecuted.

Scholars say that such attacks have been happening since 2018 and there is no answer to what action Pakistan took for six years. It is natural for these coincidences to spread bitterness between China and Pakistan. In addition to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CBEC), observers say the corridor starts in Xi'an in the south of China's Outer Mongolia region and runs through the Takla-Makan Desert to Hotan (originally Khotan). Via Yarkandu and Kargar (Chinese Nice 'Ka-shi') in Tajikistan in Central Asia, it touches down into the Pakistan-occupied Frontier Province of 'Azad Kashmir', reaching a port in the far south-west in Balochistan. , but this continuous route passes through dry desert terrain. There's nothing like the economy. All that is 'primary economy' from the point of view of economics. The economic corridor passing through this cannot help the economy of any country. Actually, China wants to maintain pressure on Pakistan through this corridor. Its tank bullets are useful only through the southern route through the desert to reach Gwada, known to the tribal chieftains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as their 'Ameer' of Balochistan. So those attacks are never going to stop. Sooner or later China will have to compensate for this.
