Banks will remain closed for 14 days in April, see this list of RBI holidays

Bank is one of the specialized financial institutions. In such a situation, if there is a holiday in banks for a long time, then many times people's important work gets stuck. The month of March is about to end and now April will begin. There will be bank holidays on 14 out of 30 days in the first month of the new financial year. The Reserve Bank has done it.

Banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in different states

According to the list of holidays announced by the Reserve Bank of India, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in April 2024. The thing to note is that the list of holidays is prepared according to the festivals and anniversaries of different states. Bank holidays will be on these days in April 2024-

1 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks across the country due to the annual closure.

5 April 2024- Bank holiday in Telangana, Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Babu Jagjivan Ram's birthday and Jumat Jumatul Vida.

7 April 2024- Bank holiday due to Sunday.

9 April 2024- Bank holiday in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar due to Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year and 1st Navratri.

10 April 2024- Bank holiday in Kochi, Kerala due to Eid.

11 April 2024- Due to Eid, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Chandigarh, Gangtok, Kochi.

13 April 2024- There will be a bank holiday on the second Saturday throughout the year.

14 April 2024- Bank holiday due to Sunday.

15 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Guwahati and Shimla due to Bohag Bihu and Himachal Day.

17 April 2024- Due to Ram Navami, banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.

20 April 2024- There will be a bank holiday in Agartala due to Garia Puja.

21 April 2024- All banks will remain closed due to Sunday.

27 April 2024- Bank holiday due to fourth Saturday.

28 April 2024- Bank holiday due to Sunday.
