Turkey is becoming a base for Islamic State, 40 suspected terrorists detained, connection with Moscow terrorist attack

The heat of the terrorist attack in Moscow has reached Turkey. Security agencies in Turkey have conducted raids at various places and detained 40 suspected terrorists associated with Islamic State.

Turkish Internal Affairs Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that these people have been arrested from eight provinces. Turkish agencies have detained a total of 2733 suspects in anti-Islamic State operations since June 2023 and arrested 692 of them.

His name is Shamsidin Fariduni and he is a citizen of Tajikistan. He opened fire on the crowd in the concert hall. He posted photos from his trip to Turkey on his Instagram on February 23.

During interrogation in the case, Faridooni confessed to traveling from Turkey to Russia on March 4 and carrying out the attack in exchange for money. However, Turkey and Russia have not yet commented on the terrorist's links to Turkey. 133 people died in the terrorist attack on a concert hall in Moscow. Russian security agencies have arrested 11 people believed to be involved in the attack. Islamic State-Khorasan has claimed responsibility for the attack.
