In the fierce war going on between Russia and Ukraine, Russia's side has been visible for some time. The supply of arms to Ukraine is also not happening like before.

Ukraine has continued its efforts to get India's support in this war. Under which Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is visiting India this week for the first time since the start of the war.

Earlier, Kuleba had posted a message on social media wishing Indians a happy Holi and said, I wish all those who are celebrating the festival of beauty and colors. I am standing in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Kiev and am coming to India for the first time.

In his message, he also mentioned the meeting between Ukrainian President Zelensky and PM Modi and stressed on strengthening relations between the two countries. He said that Ukraine and India are one of the largest democracies in the world and I am confident that both the countries can become good friends.

Kuleba said that supporting Ukraine is equivalent to supporting the tradition of Mahatma Gandhi.

Before his visit to Kuleba, PM Modi had recently spoken to Ukrainian President Zelensky and supported reconciliation between Russia and Ukraine through dialogue.

It is being denied that Kuleba can visit India and seek India's support in the peace summit to be held in Switzerland. However, India has not yet given any consent on this. Kuleba is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in India.
