The next week is going to be very short for the Indian stock market. Next week the stock market will be open only 3 days out of seven. Apart from the two-day weekly holiday, there are also two holidays coming next week. In such a situation, National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange will remain open only for 3 days next week. There will be no trading in the stock market on Holi (2024) and Good Friday.

When will there be holiday in the stock market?

According to the list of Stock Market Holidays-2024 available on the BSE website, the Indian stock market will remain closed on Monday, March 25, 2024 due to Holi. After Holi, the next holiday of stock market is coming on 29 March 2024. Good Friday is next week. This day is a public holiday for the stock market. In such a situation, there will be no trading activities on Monday and Friday of next week. Only three sessions will be held from Tuesday to Thursday.

There will be no work in derivatives segment also

According to the list of stock market holidays 2024 available on the BSE website, there will be no trading activity in the equity segment, equity derivatives segment and SLB segment on Holi and Good Friday. On these occasions, the currency derivatives segment of the Indian stock market will also remain suspended.

Commodity market will remain closed in the morning session

There will be no morning shift trading in commodity markets on MCX and NCDEX from 9 am to 5 pm on Monday next week. But these will remain open in the evening shift. This means that the commodity market will open at 5 pm on Holi. However, trading on MCX will remain suspended for the entire session on Good Friday.
