The IPL match between Delhi and Punjab is going to be held tomorrow at the new ground of Punjab Cricket Association in Mullapur, New Chandigarh. The police have made complete preparations regarding this. Punjab Police ADGP Arpit Shukla himself reached the spot and took stock of the security. Both the teams have reached Chandigarh for the match and are practicing in this new stadium.
The police has also released the route plan for this match. According to this route plan, Omaxe City, Kurali to Chandigarh and Chandigarh to Kurali routes have been diverted. According to the police, the traffic coming from Kurali will have to come to Chandigarh via Boothgarh, Siswan T Point and Chandigarh Barrier. Similarly, traffic going from Chandigarh to Kurali will have to go to Kurali via Chandigarh Barrier, Siswan T Point and Boothgarh. This diversion has been done by Mohali Police during yesterday's match.
Parking arrangements have been made at two places for the people coming during the match. According to this, parking arrangements have been made by the police at gate numbers 01, 01A, 01C, 02 and 04 on the left side of the bridge on the road leading from Chandigarh to the stadium. Similarly, parking arrangements have been made at Gate No. 07, 11 and 12 of the Stadium on the left side of the Stadium near Omaxe Light Point towards the Barrier from Chandigarh.
