Clash between Congress-BJP workers during anti-Bidhuri protest, stone pelting, three injured

Hyderabad Congress Protest Again Ramesh Bidhuri : Delhi BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri made objectionable remarks on Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, after which Congress organized a violent protest in Hyderabad, in which an incident of fighting between Congress and BJP workers has come to light. During the protest on Tuesday, workers of both the parties came face to face and a fight broke out. Meanwhile, a BJP worker has been injured due to alleged stone pelting. After this incident, a war of words has started between BJP and the ruling government.

Congress workers pelted stones at BJP office

Police said that Youth Congress had called the workers to protest against burning the effigy of Bidhuri. Then some workers tried to enter the BJP office. Meanwhile, some Congress workers allegedly pelted stones at the BJP office, resulting in head injury to a BJP worker. However, BJP leaders have claimed that three people have been injured. Police said that as soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot. An investigation has been started on the basis of video footage of what actually happened.

After this incident, BJP workers also retaliated and reached the state Congress headquarters Gandhi Bhawan and started protesting by sitting on the road. The protesters tore the banners outside the Congress office. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police convoy reached here and dispersed the crowd and detained some people. The offices of both Congress and BJP are located near Nampally.
