Lucknow, March 16 (HS). Under the leadership of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Lucknow University unit president Jaivrat Rai, students submitted a memorandum to Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Rai regarding the Athletics Association matter. The student wing of ABVP demanded that Lucknow University Athletics Association President Professor Rupesh Kumar is not giving the assistance amount to the players.
The unit members of Lucknow University and the players who returned from the All India University Netball Competition in Hyderabad told the Vice Chancellor that the players are not being provided the facilities and financial assistance provided by the university. The sports coordinator of Lucknow University has irresponsible behavior towards the players.
The members of the unit demanded the Vice Chancellor to conduct an investigation and take strict action if the allegations were found true.
On this occasion, players including ABVP's Unit Vice President Shakti Dubey, Unit Minister Jatin, Kshama Srivastava, Himanshu Baghel, Abhishek, Shubham Verma, Lakshya, Ashutosh, Vikas Mishra, Arpit Singh were present.
