New Delhi: Kawasaki has introduced many bikes in the year 2023. These include models like E Ninja 7 Hybrid, Ninja E-1 and Z E-1. The brand has now filed design patents for the Ninja 7 hybrid as well as the Z e-1 electric motorcycle in India. Let us know about these two.
Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid
The Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid is powered by a 451 cc, parallel-twin engine, which is also powered by other Kawasaki models. Apart from the engine, it has a 48 V lithium-ion battery pack, which powers the 9 kW traction motor. Combined power output is 60 bhp and with the e-Boost function it is increased to 69 bhp. Of the 60 bhp, 48 are generated from the engine and 12 from the electric motor.
The manufacturer says that the Ninja 7 HEV will be able to deliver performance in the 650 cc to 700 cc class with the pace of the 1,000 cc supersport model. Apart from this, the fuel efficiency of the bike should be equal to that of a 250 cc motorcycle. There are three riding modes on offer – Sport, Eco and EV.
Kawasaki Z E-1
The Kawasaki Z-E1 comes with two removable lithium-ion battery packs. The capacity of both battery packs is 1.5 kWh. Both battery packs take 3.7 hours to fully charge. The electric motor driving the rear wheels is capable of generating 9 kW and 5 kW of power. The top speed of the Kawasaki Z E-1 is around 79 kmph, while in Eco mode the top speed is limited to 56 kmph. The Kawasaki Z E-1 has a maximum range of 72 km in Eco mode.
