Even lakhs of followers barely voted for 146, Bigg Boss contestant lost in the election

Counting of votes continues for Maharashtra Assembly election results. The BJP-led alliance Mahayuti seems to be successful in retaining power. As far as Versova seat is concerned, till the time of writing this news, Shiv Sena UBT candidate Haroon Khan is leading with 61958 votes. BJP’s Bharti Lakar is at second place with 58474 votes. But this seat has become a topic of discussion because of one candidate and that is former Bigg Boss contestant and actor Ejaz Khan.

Lakhs of followers but only 146 votes

Ejaz Khan, who calls himself Mumbai’s Bhai Jaan, was contesting from this seat. He had contested the elections on behalf of Nagi MP Chandrashekhar Azad’s party Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram). But in terms of votes he could barely reach the figure of three. It is noteworthy that he has more than 5.6 million followers on Instagram and more than 4.1 million followers on Facebook. But even after 18 rounds of counting, Ejaz Khan could get only 146 votes. Interestingly, this figure is far behind NOTA. NOTA has also received 1216 votes so far. On November 20, 51.2 percent voting took place on this seat.
