Samajwadi Party has made Haji Mohammad Rizwan its candidate from Muslim dominated Kundarki seat. Whereas this time BJP has fielded Ramveer Singh, where till now Kundarki seat was held by SP. Amid allegations and counter-allegations, 57.18 percent voting took place till 5 pm on Wednesday in the by-election held on Kundarki assembly seat. According to the Election Commission website, currently BJP’s Ramveer Singh is ahead in Kundarki seat with a huge lead of 74568 votes. He has received 82503 votes so far. While SP’s Mohammad Rizwan has got 7935 votes.
