Maharashtra Assembly Election Results: Before the Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP is witnessing not a storm but a tsunami. BJP had contested elections on 148 seats in the state and till now is leading on 127 seats. If this trend changes in the results then it will be BJP’s biggest victory till date. The strike rate of BJP has been 84 percent, which is surprising even the political pundits. For the first time in the electoral history of Maharashtra, BJP will get so many seats. With this, not only will the party become stronger in state politics but it will also emerge powerful in the alliance and can be successful in making its CM.
Along with winning 127 seats, strike rate also matters for BJP. In the 2014 assembly elections, BJP had fielded its candidates on 260 seats but it won only 122 seats. After this, in 2019 it formed an alliance with Shiv Sena and fielded candidates on 150 seats. Even after this he got only 105 seats. In this way, BJP has got the biggest victory in its electoral history in Maharashtra. Earlier, BJP had won 46 seats in 2009 and 54 seats in 2004.
BJP’s majority in the assembly elections is so great that it has won more than double the seats that all the forces of Mahavikas Aghadi got. Along with BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has also got great success and is ahead on 54 seats. Not only this, Ajit Pawar’s NCP, which rebelled against uncle Sharad Pawar, is also leading on 35 seats.
