Mahakumbh 2025: A grand event of Mahakumbh 2025 is going to be held in the confluence city Prayagraj early next year. The Uttar Pradesh government is making a lot of efforts under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to make this event grand and divine. This year Prayagraj Mahakumbh will start from Paush Purnima i.e. 13 January 2025 and will end on Mahashivratri i.e. 26 February.
Mahakumbh will be the 6th date of Shahi Snan in 2025, in which sages and saints will participate in the age-old ritual. Maha Kumbh is being operated in mission mode for security, convenience and cleanliness as well as for the beauty of this arrangement. For this, hundreds of pillars including green belt, gardening, thematic development are being installed at various places.
Mahakumbh: A grand celebration of tradition, technology and national pride
It is noteworthy that Mahakumbh 2025 is going to be organized in Amrit Kaal. The Maha Kumbh will instill a sense of nationalism and reflect Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has allocated a huge budget of Rs 2,600 crore to ensure world-class facilities at the Mahakumbh. According to this budget, work on 6,000 projects related to new construction, repairs, crowd management, traffic and security is being carried out uninterrupted.
Modern technologies like AI and chatbots will ensure the safety of visitors.
Organizing Maha Kumbh 2025 will promote the values of Digital Kumbh and Green Kumbh. This time, by making full use of technology along with tradition, efforts are being made to increase the safety and convenience of the devotees and to give them a memorable experience. Mahakumbh 2025 will provide world-class facilities to the devotees with the help of modern technologies like AI and chatbots.
Initiatives like use of clean energy, waste management will make the planning of Maha Kumbh special. Not only this, for the first time Maha Kumbh will introduce a chatbot Kumbh Assistant, which devotees will be able to use in more than 10 languages.
Possibility of arrival of 45 crore devotees from India and abroad
According to the estimates of the fair administration, 45 crore devotees from India and abroad are likely to come for Mahakumbh 2025. Seeing such a large number of people coming, the state government does not want to leave any stone unturned in the preparations for Mahakumbh. The Mahakumbh Mela area is divided into 25 sectors. Spread over an area of 40,000 hectares, each sector will be provided with camps, offices, community areas and necessary facilities related to health, hygiene and safety.
Top water police personnel from the country including Goa, Kolkata, Maharashtra are being deployed in Prayagraj to ensure security and smooth implementation of the scheme. 2 lakh tents are being set up in the entire fair area for Prayagraj and the citizens coming to the fair, while a parking area is being built in 1800 hectares. The ghat spread over 12 km is being equipped with modern facilities for the devotees.
