Ahmedabad, March 13 (HS). Adani Connex's Hyderabad data center, operating as a joint venture between Adani Group, the country's largest private infrastructure and energy provider, and EdgeConnex, one of the world's largest private data center operators, has been certified for Occupational Health conducted by the British Safety Council. It has received a five-star grading in the end safety audit. This global recognition makes Adani Connex's Hyderabad site the first data center in India to receive such an honour. This reflects Adani Connex's commitment to continuous improvement of the Health and Safety Management System and related systems.
The site has received a strong assessment of its occupational health and safety policies and systems. The audit included documentation review and interviews with senior management, employees and key stakeholders, as well as sampling certain operational activities. In this, performance was measured based on key health and safety management best practice indicators and approximately 60 points were reviewed. In India, Adani Connex is building 01 GW data center platform powered by renewable energy in key locations including Hyderabad, Chennai, Noida and Pune. In the age of Artificial Intelligence, strategically deploying a large data center network across India will enable faster adoption of modern technologies, which will accelerate India's digital ambitions.
