Market rises on fourth day of trading, Sensex-Nifty open on gains

The Indian stock market is open in the green zone today i.e. Thursday, 14 November. On Wednesday the market closed down 984 points. Sensex opened 123 points higher at 77,813 points. Whereas Nifty of National Stock Exchange opened at 23599 points with a jump of 40 points. Today there is a break in the market decline that has been going on for the last several days. Buying has been seen in midcap and smallcap stocks which have fallen significantly in today’s business.

In today’s trade, top gainers on Nifty were Eicher Motors up 7.01 per cent, HCL Tech up 1.60 per cent, Hindalco up 1.18 per cent, Asian Paints up 0.66 per cent and Adani Enterprises up 0.62 per cent. The biggest falling stocks at this time are UltraTech Cement which has fallen by 2 per cent, Shriram Finance by 1.22 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra by 1.19 per cent, HUL by 1.01 per cent and BPCL by 0.95 per cent.

Sectoral Inductees Status

As far as sectoral indices are concerned, today the maximum growth was seen in Nifty Media 1.83 percent, Nifty Bank 0.61 percent, Nifty Auto 0.15 percent, Nifty Financial Services 0.51 percent, Nifty IT 0.56 percent, Nifty Metal 0.54 percent, Nifty Pharma Got it. Nifty PSU Bank rose by 0.13 percent, Nifty PSU Bank by 0.92 percent, Nifty Private Bank by 0.56 percent, Nifty Realty by 0.74 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.21 percent, Nifty Oil & Gas by 0.09 percent and Nifty Midsmall Healthcare by 0.65 percent. Heavy erosion worth Rs 15 lakh crore in just three days

The market cap of the Indian stock market has reached the level of 12 June 2024. That means whatever the investors earned during this period was lost due to the selling by foreign investors. The market cap of shares listed on BSE opened at Rs 430.61 lakh crore, which was Rs 429.46 lakh crore in the previous session. Investors have suffered a huge loss of Rs 15 lakh crore in the last three days.

Earlier yesterday i.e. on 13th November, Sensex had fallen by 984 points and closed at the level of 77,690. Nifty also closed at 23,559 with a fall of 324 points. Meanwhile, small cap fell 1,651 points to close at 51,952. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 26 declined and 4 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 44 stocks declined and 6 stocks rose. A decline was seen in all the sectoral indices of NSE.
