Toll free at these seven toll plazas
To save the passengers from inconvenience during Mahakumbh, the Uttar Pradesh government has made toll tax free at all the toll plazas entering Prayagraj. Administration: No toll from vehicles of devotees at Umapur Toll Plaza on Chitrakoot Highway, Mauaima Toll on Ayodhya Highway, Andhiyari Toll on Lucknow Highway, Mungari Toll on Mirzapur Road, Handiya Toll on Varanasi Road, Kokhraj Toll on Kanpur Road for 45 days during Maha Kumbh. Will recover. They will be given free entry for Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
Toll will be collected from heavy vehicles
Although the Uttar Pradesh government has made toll free for the vehicles of devotees coming to Mahakumbh, but during this period, toll tax will be collected from heavy vehicles and commercial vehicles. That is, those vehicles which are filled with iron rods, sand, cement or any kind of electrical goods or electronic goods.
Toll tax will be collected from those vehicles. However, toll tax will not be collected from any kind of jeep or car, private or commercial. The relaxation given by the government will continue till the entire Mahakumbh. Let us tell you that even when Kumbh was organized in the year 2019, toll tax was kept free.
