In such a situation, the Central Government has started the Digital Life Certificate Scheme for the convenience of the pensioners, so that the pensioners sitting at home can get rid of the trouble of getting the physical life certificate made. Jeevan Pramaan is a biometrically enabled digital service for senior citizen pensioners. Pensioners of Central Government, State Government or any other government institution can use this facility.
Create digital life certificate from smartphone
Pensioners do not need a biometric device to generate a digital life certificate. This can be done from any smartphone through Face App. It can be downloaded from Google Play Store and used at home. Keep in mind, to use it, Aadhaar Face RD service will be required.
Pensioners will need some important documents to make life certificate through mobile phone.
- The pensioner must have Aadhaar number.
- The Aadhaar number should already be registered with the pension disbursing agency.
- Pensioners must have mobile number and email ID.
- Must have PPO/EPPO number and pension account number.
- Please note that after installing both the applications, operator verification will be required. Once operator verification is done, the operator can create DLC for multiple pensioners.
Last date for submission of life certificate
Let us tell you that the last date for all pensioners to submit their life certificate is 30th November 2024, which can be submitted from 1st November 2024. At the same time, pensioners above 80 years of age are allowed to file Annual Life Certificate from October 1 instead of November 1, so that they can easily submit it and avail pension benefits.
