spain flood news: Spanish authorities said in a statement that flash floods in eastern parts of Spain killed 67 people and overturned several cars, submerged several villages and blocked railway lines and highways.

Emergency services in the province of East Wales confirmed the death toll. Heavy rains caused flooding in eastern and southern parts of Spain.

The railway authority said that the air train derailed near Málaga. In which 300 people were aboard. However, there was no loss in this incident. The high speed railway between the cities of Valencia and Madrid has been blocked.

Spanish President Pedro Sanchez said several cities had been affected by flooding. In his televised address he said that the whole of Spain is feeling the pain of people searching for their relatives.

Our priority is to help them. We are using all necessary resources to quickly get out of this scam. Police and rescue services used helicopters to rescue people from homes and cars.

More than 1,000 members of Spain's emergency forces were deployed to flood-affected areas. Spain's central government has set up a committee to help with rescue efforts. According to Spain's National Meteorological Service, the impact of the storm is likely to last in the country till Thursday.
