Mahoba, 26 October (Hindustan Reporter). A case of love jihad has come to light in the district on Saturday. A Muslim youth who was pretending to be a Hindu was taking the girl to the temple. People of Hindu organization caught him. Meanwhile the young man managed to escape from the spot. The girl says that she did not know that the boy was a Muslim. The police has started taking further action in this matter.
Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh official Hridesh Vajpayee told that he goes to see Maa Badi Chandrika Devi every day. When we reached the temple on Saturday also, we saw that a Muslim youth was roaming in the temple with a Hindu girl. He already knew the young man. The Muslim youth lives in a rented house in their neighbourhood. When in doubt, he called other officials of the organization. After this, the young man and the girl were caught and interrogated. However, the boy ran away after finding Maika.
Sadar Kotwali in-charge Inspector Narendra Pratap Singh told that the girl is a resident of Madhya Pradesh. He told that he had met the young man in the district hospital, where he told him his name was Mahesh. Then both of them started talking. On Saturday he had brought her with the promise of taking her to the temple. She had also said that so that no one could recognize her, she came wearing vermilion and bangles. On his request, she had come to visit the temple posing as a married woman. He did not know that the young man who told him his name was Mahesh was a Muslim.
The station in-charge said that the girl's family has been informed. All aspects are being investigated. The accused will be arrested soon.
