LONDON: King Charles III's privately owned Ballymotel Castle in the Scottish Highlands will now be rented out for weddings and other functions. For this, a petition has also been submitted to the local council. The petition is largely acceptable, it also seeks permission to hold wedding ceremonies, banquets and conferences (meetings) and any related events in the palace. Which is believed to be passed by Aberdeen Shire Council.
Adjacent to this, to the north of the castle, is the Queen's Building, close to which are the Ballymotel Castle offices and newly built staff quarters and stables dating from the 1980s. There is also a big canteen here. It has the capacity to accommodate 277 guests. The palace canteen provides food to visitors. Liquor is served here till 12.30 midnight. The world's best wine is available in its bar.
Queen Elizabeth also liked this palace very much. Even when he was 96 years old, he used to come here to spend summer holidays. Here are pictures of the royal family. There are many more facilities. Tickets to see it are currently £100 ($130).
