Tanner Fox and Jose Lopez, accused in the murder of 75-year-old Ripudaman Singh Malik, an acquitted suspect in the Kanishka aircraft terror bombing case, pleaded guilty to murder before the Supreme Court in New Westminster, British Columbia. Both of them confessed to their crime on Monday, on the eve of the hearing in the Ripudaman Singh Malik murder case. According to the Global News Channel, the court hearing on the sentencing of accused Tanner Fox and Jose Lopez will begin on October 31. After confessing to the crime, Fox and Lopez got into a fight. Lopez punches Fox in the head. With great difficulty the two could be separated. Both Fox and Lopez have lengthy criminal records. Both of them had taken Malik's life by taking betel nut. Malik was shot by bullets while sitting in the driver's seat of a red Tesla. Police had recovered approximately $16,000 in cash from these accused.
Malik was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia on July 14, 2022. It is noteworthy that Malik and co-accused Ajaib Singh Bagri were acquitted in 2005 on charges of mass murder and conspiracy related to the two bomb blasts in 1985. 331 people were killed in these blasts. Bomb maker Inderjit Singh Reyat was later convicted in the attack. The alleged mastermind Talwinder Singh Parmar died during the trial.
