Talking about the stock market situation at 9.30 am, the Sensex opened at 81,282 points with a gain of 131.62 points. Nifty opened 32.50 points up at 24,813 points. After the market opened, shares of Bajaj Housing were seen trading with a gain of 3%, while shares of CG Power were seen trading with a gain of 5%.

Global oil benchmark Brent crude fell 0.24 percent to $74.11 a barrel. On Monday, BSE Sensex closed at 81,151.27, down 73.48 points or 0.09 per cent. Nifty fell 72.95 points or 0.29 per cent to close at 24,781.10.
