MP Bhopal Kanpur Economic Corridor: Before Diwali, the Modi government at the Center has given a big gift to Madhya Pradesh. Modi government has sanctioned Rs 3589.4 crore to upgrade Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor to 4 lanes. This will give a new impetus to road development in Madhya Pradesh and improve regional trade and connectivity.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for giving the invaluable gift of development path to Madhya Pradesh. He said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Madhya Pradesh government is writing a new story of development by increasing road connectivity. Upgradation of Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor to 4-lane will give impetus to the economic development of this region, along with ease of traffic, road accidents will also reduce.

Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor will bring big benefits

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has approved Rs 3589.4 crore for Bhopal to Vidisha, Vidisha to Gyaraspur, Satighat to Chowka and Chowka to Kaimha package to upgrade Bhopal-Kanpur Economic Corridor to 4-lane in Madhya Pradesh. . This upgradation will ease transportation in the area and significantly reduce travel time, which will boost business activities and strengthen the local economy. Along with this, Rs 592 crore has also been sanctioned for Mandla-Nainpur route.

Connectivity of Madhya Pradesh and UP will increase

In fact, the MP government had announced Bundelkhand Vikas Path in its resolution letter, which is an important 4 lane road project connecting Bhopal to Sagar and Chhatarpur districts of Bundelkhand. It aims to improve connectivity from Bhopal to Chhatarpur and Sagar via UP border, which will enhance regional trade and traffic ease. The process of expanding this route to 4 lanes was already underway by NHAI, but approval for some stretches was pending. In the meeting held in New Delhi, permission has been given to upgrade this route to 4 lanes from Bhopal to Sagar and from Chhatarpur to UP border and its total cost has been fixed at Rs 3589.4 crore.

Approval of Rs 592 crore for Mandla-Nainpur route

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has also approved Rs 592 crore for the upgradation of the 46 km long road from Mandla to Nainpur. The upgradation of this road will make the traffic system of the area more safe and efficient. These projects will boost infrastructure development in the state as well as employment generation and regional economic activities. Also, upon completion of the projects, not only the traffic will be smooth, but the industrial and commercial activities will also reach new heights.
