IT Returns: A new portal for income tax e-filing returns, e-Filing Returns-3, will be launched soon. This portal has been prepared under the IEC-3 project. This will make the return filing system easier. Its users will have less movement problems. An internal circular has been made in this regard. This circular was announced on October 8.

In view of the continuous increase in the number of tax return filers in India, it has become necessary to quickly analyze the information. Earlier, there were problems like challan payment failure on the portal, server being slow or down, difficulty in downloading 26AS and downloading ITR forms. But under the new IEC-3, an attempt has been made to avoid these problems in the portal.
CA's writ petition is pending
Even in festive seasons like Diwali, e-commerce shops or malls or platforms do not fail. When it comes to filing income tax returns, it is natural to face hurdles. Therefore its version has been modified to avoid interruption. In pursuance of the above issues a writ petition filed by the Chartered Accountants Association of Surat is pending in the Gujarat High Court.
According to the arrangements made in IEC-3, taxpayers will be able to e-filing their returns. They can also upload different forms to fill it. Taxpayers can also use other services along with this. It will also connect the taxpayer to the Central Processing Centre. Back office portal facility will also be available through IEC. Income tax account functioning will become more efficient due to IEC-3 portal. Taxpayers will also benefit from this.
