Lucknow: BSP chief Mayawati has announced that her party BSP will stay away from NDA or Bharat alliance in any state and will not form an alliance with any local party. This decision has been taken because earlier alliances did not yield satisfactory results. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati has given this clarification before the results of Haryana Assembly elections and Punjab elections. In a post on Twitter, he said that BSP has transferred its votes to its allies, which has been seen in Uttar Pradesh and other states. But in return these partners have given very disappointing results. Due to which the morale of BSP workers and the party movement has been affected.
Mayawati further said that it is necessary to prevent further disillusionment of party workers.
In view of the Haryana election results and Punjab elections, a meeting was held in which it was decided that BSP would stay away from the BJP-NDA and Congress-India alliance. BSP is the only party in the country which sticks to Ambedkar's values and runs a movement to unite the Bahujan community.
