Jalain, 12 October (Hindustan Reporter). 1197 Asha and 2429 Anganwadi workers of the district will now get the facility of free treatment and they will be able to get free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh in any registered private and government hospital of the country.
In fact, the list of Asha workers and Anganwadi was sought from the district by the government in 2020 itself. But now it has been implemented in 2024 and the making of Ayushman card has started. On behalf of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, instructions have been given to the Medical Superintendents and In-charge Medical Officers of all the blocks to quickly make Ayushman cards of all the Asha workers and companions of their respective development blocks. So that if needed, they can get treatment facility up to Rs 5 lakh.
Card can be made by doing self KYC with the help of application
District Program Coordinator of Ayushman Yojana, Ashish Kumar Jha said that by registering yourself with the help of Ayushman application, you can do eKYC with the help of your Aadhar card. Along with this, if any Asha or Anganwadi worker faces any inconvenience in making his Ayushman through self-registration, then he can do so through Ayushman Mitra in any registered hospital or through CHO in Ayushman Arogya Mandir and apart from this, in the Panchayat Secretariat. You can get your Ayushman card issued through Panchayat Assistant.
