On Thursday, on the Ashtami of Sharadiya Navratri, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath worshiped Shakti while worshiping Goddess Pateshwari in the sanctum sanctorum of Devipatan temple. While worshiping Mahagauri, the Ashtami form of Mother Goddess, the Chief Minister wished for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state.
After offering prayers, CM Yogi reached the cowshed located in the temple, where he fed green fodder and jaggery to the cows. Interacted with the women devotees standing in line for darshan and worship. Caressed the children and gave them chocolates. Devotees looked overwhelmed after seeing the CM caressing the children. CM had arrived a day earlier on Wednesday on a two-day visit to the district.
From Gaushala, the CM reached the Tharu hostel run by the temple, talked to the students there and took information about studies. Took stock of the hostel building under construction nearby. During this time, Devipatan Peethadhishwar Mithlesh Nath Yogi remained with him. After visiting the temple, the CM met the public representatives in the temple auditorium and took information about the development works. CM's convoy left from the temple at around 09:10 am for the helipad site Bhavaniyapur. Took stock of the arrangements at Adishakti Maa Pateshwari Vidyalaya in Bhavaniyapur, after which Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath left for Gorakhpur by helicopter.
It is noteworthy that CM Yogi Adityanath had reached Balrampur headquarters yesterday itself on Wednesday. Review of development works was conducted with officials and public representatives in Balrampur Collectorate Auditorium. After the review, the access works at the under-construction Medical College and Maa Pateshwari University site were taken stock. The Chief Minister reached Devipatan temple by car yesterday at 6:00 pm. After night rest, performed puja on Thursday morning and left for Gorakhpur.
