Barabanki, 10 October (Hindustan Reporter). The election for the post of President and Vice President of District Cooperative Bank was completed on Thursday. Both posts were elected unopposed. BJP candidate Guru Sharan Lodhi was declared president and Arun Kumar Baiswar was declared elected unopposed for the post of vice president.
Additional Magistrate and Election Officer Anurag Singh handed over certificates to both the winning candidates. Before this, BJP candidates had filed their nomination papers for both the posts in the morning. On this occasion, BJP District President Arvind Maurya, Minister of State Satish Sharma, District Panchayat President Rajrani Rawat, outgoing MP Upendra Singh Rawat, MLA Sakendra Pratap Verma, MLA Dinesh Rawat, Ram Kumari Maurya, Sandeep Gupta, Vijay Anand Bajpai, Rohit Singh, Rameshwari Trivedi was present.
