Market rises on fourth day of trading, Sensex opens above 170 points

The Indian stock market opened in the green zone today i.e. Thursday, October 10. Yesterday also the market had closed at a gap of 167. The Indian stock market opened with great momentum today. American markets closed with gains. At the same time, good growth is also being seen in the Asian market. Due to which Sensex opened with a rise of 250 points and Nifty with a rise of about 250 points. The index gained momentum due to gains in banking, energy and FMCG shares. The market has opened with a rise in midcap and smallcap stocks.

Among Nifty pack stocks, the top gainers on Thursday morning were Larsen & Toubro up 1.32 per cent, NTPC up 1.08 per cent, Hindalco up 1.07 per cent, BEL up 1.04 per cent and Axis Bank up 0.97 per cent. At the same time, the biggest falling stocks include Tata Motors by 1.45 percent, Adani Enterprises by 1.12 percent, Apollo Hospitals by 0.34 percent, Infosys by 0.30 percent and HUL by 0.16 percent.

Earlier yesterday i.e. on October 9, the Sensex fell by 167 points and closed at 81,467. Nifty also closed 31 points down at 24,981. Meanwhile, BSE Small Cap closed at 56,110, up 670 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 17 rose and 13 declined. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 31 declined and 19 gained.
