Preparations for the grand lamp festival have begun in Ayodhya, the aim of which is to break last year's world record by lighting 25 lakh lamps.

Ayodhya: After the installation of the idol of Ramlala in the Ram temple, preparations have started for the eighth Deep Utsav to be held this year. While the target is to break last year's record by lighting 25 lakh lamps, preparations are also underway to make the program more grand. Saryu ghats are being decorated for the four-day lamp festival. Arrangements are being made to seat the spectators at Ram ki Pauri.

Deep Utsav will start from 28th October. On this day, Saryu Ghats, main roads and monastery temples of Ayodhya Dham will be illuminated but the main event will take place on October 30. A record was created by lighting 22 lakh lamps in the 7th Deep Utsav. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has issued guidelines to all the departments to make the eighth Deep Utsav organized after the installation of the idol more divine than the previous seven programs. Uttar Pradesh Projects Corporation under the leadership of Tourism Department is promoting Ram Ki Paidi and Saryu Ghat. Selfie points are also being made at various ghats of Saryu including Ram Ki Paidi. Beautiful pictures will be carved on these through wall art. Deputy Director of Tourism Department, Ayodhya, RP Yadav said that all preparations will be completed on time to make the program more grand.

The main peak of Ram temple will take the shape of 29 layers.

These days the construction work of the main peak of Ram temple is going on. The peak will be 101 feet high. Its construction resembles the foundation of a temple. Under this, the foundation of the temple was made in 44 layers. This is how it will reach its peak. The jewelery used in this will be placed one above the other in 29 layers.
