The department has put a double lock on its gate. This government residence was vacated after Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of CM. After becoming CM, Atishi shifted to it. There is a dispute going on regarding eviction and handover of the house, after which PWD has taken action.

Apart from this, show cause notices have also been issued to two section officers of PWD in the Vigilance Department of Delhi and former Special Secretary to Arvind Kejriwal for taking proper possession of the house.

Some time before this, the Aam Aadmi Party had alleged that ignoring the protocol, the officials were not allotting the bungalow at 6, Flagstaff Road to Delhi Chief Minister Atishi due to pressure from the BJP, while her predecessor Arvind Kejriwal had vacated it. . At the same time, Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijendra Gupta accused the Chief Minister of illegal occupation of the bungalow and demanded that it be sealed.

Let us tell you that Atishi shifted to the bungalow located in Civil Lines area of ​​North Delhi along with her belongings on Monday. Arvind Kejriwal was living in this bungalow with his family for more than 9 years. He had vacated it after resigning from the post of Chief Minister.

On Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, in a press conference, alleged that Atishi has not been allotted the bungalow yet and accused the BJP of trying to grab the bungalow. He also claimed that the Chief Minister's camp office located in the bungalow complex has been vacated. Showing the documents, Singh claimed that Kejriwal has vacated the bungalow as per the order.
