Navratri special thali will be available at more than 150 railway stations, food can be ordered by applying through IRTC site or e-Catering.

Jalandhar : In view of the festival of Navratri, Railways has started the facility of giving Navratri special thali. At present, only two stations have been selected for this facility in Punjab, which include Jalandhar and Ludhiana so that the passengers observing Navratri fast do not have to worry about food and drink during the journey. During the journey, this service can be availed at more than 150 stations in the country including Jalandhar City Railway Station. The condition is that to avail this facility, passengers have to request Navratri Special Thali through IRCTC mobile app, with which they only have to enter their PNR status.

Apart from this, passengers can also visit the IRCTC e-Catering site and request Navratri Thali. Passengers can avail this facility at Jalandhar City Railway Station, Ludhiana, Mumbai Central, Delhi Junction, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna Junction, Durg Chennai. Can be picked up at Central. Secunderabad, Amravati, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Udaipur City, Bengaluru Cantt, New Delhi, Thane, Pune, Mangalore Central Station etc.
