Government Employees: Before Diwali, the government can increase the basic salary of central employees. This can be announced next week i.e. before Diwali. It is being told that during talks with the government, a consensus has been reached on the fitment factor. After which the basic salary of the employees is being increased to Rs 26000. However, no official announcement has been made by the government yet.
Know how much salary you will get
At present, central employees get a basic salary of Rs 18000. But before Diwali, the government is preparing to increase the basic salary to Rs 26,000. That means, if you are a central employee, your account will increase by Rs 96 thousand annually.
According to the information, at present the employees are paid at the rate of 2.57 percent under the fitment factor. The government is preparing to increase it to 3.68 percent. If this happens, there will be a direct increase of Rs 8 thousand per month in the salary of the employees. You will also get the benefit of DA on this basis because dearness allowance depends on the basic salary only.
Increase in dearness allowance
There is talk of a four percent increase in dearness allowance because dearness allowance was increased six months ago. Now this allowance is to be increased again in July. Sources claim that this month i.e. before Diwali, dearness allowance will also be increased by four percent.
