Stock Market Crash: Due to the huge fall in the stock market on the fifth day of Navratri, investors have lost Rs 8.62 lakh crore. After starting the week on a positive note, the Indian stock market fell due to increased selling pressure in the afternoon session. Sensex today crossed 82000 level after opening with a gain of 238.54 points and closed at 81050 with a gain of 638.45 points after intraday fluctuations of 1411.71 points.

Nifty failed to maintain the level of 25000

NSE Nifty failed to sustain 25000 level. After falling 320.25 points to hit an intra-day low of 24694.35, Nifty finally closed 218.85 points lower at 24795.75.

9 lakh crores drowned

Due to heavy selling, the market cap of BSE increased to Rs 452 lakh crore. Investors have suffered a loss of Rs 8.62 lakh crore. The stock market has fallen due to the geopolitical crisis at the global level as well as the equations of BJP's defeat in the exit polls of Haryana Assembly elections at the local level.
