Varanasi, 05 October (HS). On Saturday, a woman jumped into the Ganga along with her child from the middle of Vishwasundari bridge with the intention of committing suicide. After receiving the information, Ramnagar and Lanka police also reached the spot. During the investigation, the police team also found a mobile phone from the place where the woman jumped.
Police officers called NDRF and water police to the spot. After this, the police team along with NDRF divers started searching for the woman and child in the Ganga river in a special boat. On the other hand, police officers kept trying to identify the woman through mobile.
