In the first hour, Mahindra received online bookings of 1,76,218 vehicles. This figure may increase due to offline booking. The company will start the delivery of this car from Saturday, October 12 till Dussehra. The company will also release the delivery schedule in the next three weeks.

Thar Rocks is an off-road SUV. The petrol variant of this vehicle is only available with 2-wheel drive. This SUV has a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. This engine produces 162 hp power and 330 Nm torque on manual transmission. While the automatic transmission generates power of 177 hp and torque of 380 Nm.
Mahindra Thar Rocks also has a 2.2-litre diesel engine option, which produces 152 hp of power and 330 Nm of torque on both manual and automatic transmissions. 4 WD option is also available in the diesel engine variant.

Mahindra Thar Rocks is available in the market in seven color variants. This car has a 26.03-cm twin digital screen. A panoramic skyroof is also provided in the vehicle.
