As far as Nifty stocks are concerned, the biggest fallers were BPCL down 2.51 per cent, Bajaj Finance down 2.34 per cent, Trent down 2.08 per cent, Asian Paints down 1.51 per cent and Hero MotoCorp down 1.22 per cent. Apart from this, ONGC rose by 1.39 percent, TCS by 0.79 percent, Wipro by 0.68 percent, HCL Tech by 0.62 percent and ITC by 0.55 percent.

Earlier yesterday i.e. on October 3, the fourth biggest decline of the year was seen in the stock market. The Sensex fell 1,769 points or 2.10 per cent to close at 82,497. At the same time, Nifty also fell by 546 points or 2.12 percent and closed at 25,250. Auto, energy, finance and banking stocks fell further.
