Vande Bharat Sleeper Train: The country's first Vande Bharat sleeper train may soon be back on track for the common man. According to sources related to Railways, Vande Bharat Sleeper train will reach the Integral Coach Factory of Railways from BEML facility today. To test the Vande Bharat sleeper train on different parameters, oscillation trials will first be conducted by ICF. After which it will be run for passengers after stability trial, speed trial and other technical trials. This entire process may take about 2 months, from which it can be estimated that this train will be back on track by December.

This train has integrated reading lights, public announcement and visual information system with USB charging provision, display panels inside and security cameras and modular pantry. Along with this, special berths and toilets have been arranged for disabled passengers. Apart from this, the facility of bathing with hot water has also been provided for the passengers in the first AC coach.
823 passengers will travel at one time
The Railway Minister said that Vande Bharat Sleeper train will run at a speed of 160/km per hour, whose maximum speed can reach 180/km per hour. This train will have a total of 16 coaches, of which 11 will be 3AC, 4 2AC and 1 first class coach.

The Railway Minister said that along with the safety of the passengers, the facilities of the loco pilot and attendant have also been taken care of. All these trains have been designed in a new way. Loco cab has been improved. For safety reasons, these trains are already fitted with armour.
