When the young players who were training at the Sadul Club cricket ground were asked what they thought about the cricket tournament for players above 60 years of age to be held in Bikaner on 17-20 October, Shaurya, Pawan, Gurman Singh, Sarita Suthar, Sharad Suthar and Raunaq Jakhar told that they are very excited about this tournament and are eagerly waiting for it. He believes that the thrill of watching such senior players play will be amazing and one will get to learn a lot from them.
Their coach Anil Nair said that this is a very commendable initiative of Polished Boundaries Cricket Club. This will encourage the youth and senior citizens of Bikaner and they will also be attracted towards sports for a healthy lifestyle. Sunil Joshi, director of Polished Boundaries, said that after this tournament, a national level tournament for players above 40 and 50 years of age will soon be organized.
