Bangkok: The front tire of a student bus going from the country's ancient capital Uthai Thani to Ayutthaya burst just a short distance from the capital. As a result, the Wat Khao school bus collided with an iron barrier and caught fire, tragically killing 25 of the 44 students on board the bus. The country is shocked by this tragic accident, the government has also announced a day of mourning.
After the accident, Thailand's Transport Minister Soria (Sun) Jang Rung Rungkin rushed to the accident site and ordered arrangements to be made for the treatment of the surviving students. Home Affairs Minister Anutin Charan Birakul said authorities had not yet determined the death toll. Because the investigation of the accident has not been completed yet. But from the number of survivors it can be said that at least 25 students might have died. It is simply still too hot to go inside immediately and explore further. It is possible that some bodies may still be inside the bus.
In the video of the accident, it is seen that the entire bus is engulfed in flames. Black smoke could be seen coming out of it. However, this accident happened at the end of the road. That's why the bus is lying on one side of the road. But the name, age or other information of the students has not been found yet.
Rescue workers reached the spot immediately after the accident. He clearly believed that the bus might have gone out of control due to a tire burst as soon as the bus arrived. At the same time, sparks may have also flown due to the collision with the iron bar barrier installed on the roadside. In such a situation, when diesel or petrol catches fire, the bus gets caught in the fire.
