New York: The New York Times editorial board unanimously endorsed Kamala Harris on Monday. That editorial said: Democrat Harris remains the Patriot's only candidate for president. He is the best option against Donald Trump.
Yet this world-famous current newspaper did not mention the name of any vice-presidential contender until the fourth paragraph of its editorial. Instead, the middle paragraph focuses on Trump's unfitness, writing that he is morally and temperamentally unfit to be president. It further reads: It is very clearly and disappointingly true that Donald Trump is unfit for the presidency. Therefore, voters who want the best interests of our country and who want the stability of our democracy should not allow Trump to be re-elected.
The day after the editorial was published, he wrote: 'Anybody but Trump.'
In the supplemental section of this present paper, Republicans attack America's intellectual fabric, its stability, and America's fundamental nature. Additionally, this detailed editorial notes that not every voter will find Harris the right candidate. Exclusive: For those disappointed and angry at this government's failure to deliver more results, Kamala Harris may not seem like the right candidate. Yet if we compare Ms. Harris's record with that of her opponent, Harris is more than the alternative.
The New York Times has not endorsed the Republican Party or its candidates since it last endorsed Republican candidate Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956.
The New York Times wrote that this election is becoming more important and different from traditional elections. Given the stakes at stake in this election, Harris faces real challenges, yet she is moving forward while taking minimal risks and avoiding unintended losses. So it seems quite clear that voters see Harris as a strong alternative to Trump. His strategy is also such that it will make him victorious in the end.
In the conclusion of this editorial it is written that Trump wants to take power once again, but he has taken power before also. Even more damaging and divisive than the damage and division of that time, their assumption of power once again will be even more damaging and divisive.
The editorial concludes that Kamal Harris remains the only option.
