Firozabad, September 30 (HS). The court on Monday sentenced a gangster convict to two years and ten months imprisonment. A fine has also been imposed on him. If he does not pay the fine, he will have to face additional punishment.

The Government Railway Police had taken action against Naresh, a resident of Jheel ki Puliya of Police Station North, under the Uttar Pradesh Gang Bandh and Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act. The police had filed a charge sheet against him in the court. The case proceeded in the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Special Judge Gangster Act Court No. 3 Archana Gupta.

Special people prosecuting the case on behalf of the prosecution: Prosecutor Murari Lal Lodhi said that many evidences were presented during the trial. The witnesses also testified. On the basis of testimony and evidence of witnesses, the court found Naresh guilty. The court has sentenced him to 2 years and 10 months imprisonment. A fine of Rs 10,000 has been imposed on him. If he does not pay the fine, he will have to face additional punishment of 2 months.
