More than three dozen solar panels of this scheme have been installed in Hamirpur city and surrounding areas alone. And its demand is also continuously increasing.

Modi government has given a big gift to the common people of the entire state including Chitrakoot Dham Banda Mandal's Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda and Chitrakoot of Bundelkhand. After PM Awas Yojana and Free Food Grain Distribution Scheme, now PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme has been started for electricity consumers, which has created a stir among the common and special people of Bundelkhand.

Project Officer Neyda RB Ojha said that under PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, three hundred units of free electricity will be available on installation of grid connected roof top solar power plants in private residences. The cost of setting up a one kilowatt plant is sixty thousand rupees, whereas a grant of thirty thousand rupees is received from the center and fifteen thousand rupees from the state government. Consumers will have to spend only fifteen thousand rupees for installing one kilowatt solar power plant. A two kilowatt solar plant will cost one lakh twenty thousand rupees. Whereas a grant of ninety thousand rupees will be received from the Central and State Government.

Now solar panels are being installed from cities to villages under PM Surya Ghar Mufti Yojana.

Kalp Enterprises Company has been given the work to set up a solar power plant in Hamirpur, Bundelkhand. Company chief Abhishek Dixit said that ten thousand solar power plants are to be set up in Hamirpur under the PM Surya Ghar free electricity scheme. Apart from Mahoba and Banda, thirty-two thousand solar power plants are to be set up in Chitrakoot also. Told that till now dozens of solar power plants have been installed in Hamirpur. Demand is also continuously increasing.

A large number of contract workers will become unemployed due to preparations for the departure of old meters.

Project Officer Neyda RB Ojha said that in the coming time, installation of solar power plant will provide great relief to the consumers. Because up to two-thirds of the electricity bill will be saved. Since the work of installing smart meter (net meter) has started here, there is now a competition among common and special people to install solar plants. Due to the retirement of old meters, the livelihood of contract meter readers is in danger.

Subsidy will be given for installing one kilowatt to five kilowatt solar power plant.

Project Officer Neyda RB Ojha said that for setting up a solar power plant, a grant of forty-five thousand rupees for one kilowatt, ninety thousand rupees for two kilowatts is available, while for setting up a solar plant of three to five kilowatts, a grant of one lakh eight thousand rupees is given. will get. Solar power plant saves eighty to ninety percent of electricity. Told that ten thousand solar power plants will be installed under the scheme in this financial year.
