Barabanki, 27 September (HS). In Barabanki district, two days of rain and strong winds have wreaked havoc on the farmers. The prepared paddy crops of the farmers have fallen on the ground, causing huge losses to the farmers.

Farmers have suffered huge losses due to torrential rains and strong winds at other places including Ram Nagar Trivediganj Sidhaur, Haidergarh, Asandra Kothi Tapapur Fatehpur, Daryabad Baddupur, Deva, Subeha, Harakh, Zaidpur of Barabanki district.

Sunil Kumar, son of Kailash, resident of village Dhanaura, said that all the paddy crops that were ready in our area have fallen. We also had paddy planted in 15 bighas, that too has fallen. If the rain is not stopping then all the paddy will get frozen in the field and it will be difficult for the farmer to recover his hard earned money invested in the field.

Mahesh Rajput son Ramsharan, resident of Gram Panchayat Kubharwa Ram Nagar, said that there are a few fields left in our entire area which have not fallen, while the paddy crop in the fields of almost all the farmers has been completely overturned. Due to which there is disappointment on the faces of the farmers, on the other hand the rain is also not stopping.

The ripe paddy crop of Ramharish, son of Dudhadhari, resident of Gram Panchayat Tanda, a village in the Bunikodar area of ​​Ramsanehighat development block, has fallen due to rain. Farmer Ramharish said that if the water continues to fall, the remaining crop will also be completely ruined.

Farmer Rajkumar, resident of entire Pandit Purva development block Sidhaur, standing in the field of ruined paddy crop, said that sir, the crop has completely failed due to unseasonal rain and strong wind, we farmers have been ruined. These pictures are not with me, but the entire district. Can be seen with farmers whose crops have failed. The government should conduct a survey and direct the concerned authorities for relief to the farmers.

Farmer Santsharan resident of Dighawan development block Sidhaur said that sir, who can fight with God. Farmer leader Rajesh Kumar Verma said that due to unseasonal rain and strong wind, the standing crops of the farmers fell, due to which the farmers suffered huge losses. He said that the government should issue a relief package to the farmers after conducting a survey by the regional accountant and other officials, otherwise the farmers will be on the verge of starvation. He said that if the government does not take cognizance of this matter, there will be demonstrations.
