Delhi Development Authority (DDA) ) has extended the date of submission of final installment of 1800 premium flats located in 19B area of Dwarka. Earlier this last date was 28th September, but now it has been extended to 31st October. DDA has taken this decision keeping in mind the demand from buyers for extension of time and the ongoing finishing work in the flats. This gives buyers more than a month to clear their outstanding installments.

Especially the owners of flats from Tower A to K had requested to extend the payment deadline. Besides, the builders also needed additional time to complete the construction work. On Tuesday, DDA issued a circular informing about this decision. According to reports, many buyers have expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of essential amenities in the flats. Among these, facilities like security arrangements, electricity and water supply, construction of entry gate and entertainment area have not been completed yet.

On Tuesday, DDA conducted e-auction under Dwarka Housing Scheme, which received a very good response. 173 flats were put up for sale in this auction, out of which 10 flats and penthouses were sold. A penthouse, three super high-income group flats and six HIG flats were sold in Tuesday's auction, a DDA representative said. All these flats were sold well above the reserve price.

On Wednesday also, DDA auctioned 17 flats, which included 12 HIG and 5 MIG flats. The representative said that all the flats were sold at a price higher than the reserve price. Therefore this e-auction was to be held from 24 to 26 September.
