Auraiya, 26 September (HS). The condition of electricity supply in the district is very bad. Every day consumers have to face the problem of tripping.
On Thursday, due to a fault in the 33 KV high tension line from Aseni sub station of Kanchhausi to Biharipur, electricity supply to 20 villages was cut off for 5 hours.
The line was out of order. After a lot of effort, the lineman was able to resolve the problem. The connected feeder was kept off during the work.
Electricity consumers are getting the shock of tripping every day. This problem is happening eight to ten times a day. All efforts to solve this problem have failed. The problem was worse on Thursday. At 9 am, a fault occurred in the 33 KV (kilowatt) line. The feeder of the area connected to Aseni sub-station was shut down. Due to which there was no electricity in 20 villages. The lineman restored the supply by fixing the fault found between Aseni and Dibiyapur.
Electricity department officials said that due to the fault, the areas connected to the Biharipur sub-centre were also affected. Consumers of 20 villages including Jamouli and Chamraua, Biharipur, Binpurapur, Roshanpur, Kanchhosi Bazar, Kanchhosi village, Ghasakapurwa, Sukhampur, Bijhai, Kanhai ka Purwa, Dhikiyapur had to face problems. JE Satish Jaiswal said that it took time to find the fault. Due to which there was more trouble.
