Hundreds of employees held an angry rally demanding old pension | News India

Auraiya, 26 September (HS). An anger march was taken out on Thursday by the employees' organization ATEA (All Teachers Employee Welfare Association) in protest against UPS and NPS and demanding old pension. Hundreds of employees reached the district headquarters via a bike rally from the industrial city of Dibiyapur and demonstrated and submitted a memorandum. All the employee organizations joined the rally in support of ATEA and demanded old pension in one voice.

The Aakrosh rally started from Pawani Guest House in Dibiyapur. After this, all the employees reached the district headquarters Kakor with a bike rally. Ateva District President Aman Yadav gave a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister to SDM Harishchandra. The District President said that about 14 lakh employees in the state are demanding old pension due to the ill effects of the New Pension Scheme (NPS). All the employees are getting pension ranging from 800 to 1200 under NPS, which is unjust. At the same time, now the central government has also accepted that the NPS system is not fair, so it has brought the new system UPS. But UPS is even more harmful than NPS. Therefore, employees across the country are demanding old pension, so there is a demand to give the exact old pension. In the rally, the employees raised slogans like restore old pension and privatization is fatal.

General Secretary Rashid Siddiqui, Minister Amit Pal, Amit Visaria and KK Gautam, Devendra Rajput, Indrajit, Amar Singh, Ajay Pal, Shailendra, Seema Pal, Alka Yadav, Shilpi, Poonam Kamal, Lakhan Singh, Mahesh, Preeti Shakya, Sunil Kumar, Maheshwari Prasad Singh (Sharma group), Safai Karamcharis District President Dharmendra, Dharmendra Ambedkar and Ashish Tripathi etc. were present. Organizations like Safai Karamchari Sangh, Nurses, Pharmacist, UTA, Non-Teaching Employees Federation and Proton etc. also supported the protest rally.
