IND vs BAN 2nd Test: Indian cricket team's star batsman Virat Kohli could not score well in both the innings of the first test match against Bangladesh. Virat returned to the pavilion after scoring 6 runs in the first innings and 17 runs in the second innings. After a poor performance in Chennai, he has started preparing for the second test match to be held in Kanpur. But even during the preparation, Virat did not look in good form against the spinners.
Bumrah took four wickets in 15 balls
In the nets, Bumrah dismissed Kohli four times in 15 balls. In the Chennai Test match too, Kohli was dismissed by a fast bowler in the first innings and a spinner in the second innings. Therefore, he was hopeful that he would perform well in the second match, but this was not seen even in the practice session.
According to a media report, Kohli dismissed fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah four times in 15 balls in the nets. Bumrah's fourth ball hit his pad and Bumrah shouted, 'It hit him in the front.' Kohli also accepted this statement of Bumrah. After playing two balls, Kohli went to play the ball outside the off stump and the ball hit the edge. After this, the Gujju bowler shifted his line to the middle and leg stump and bowled Kohli twice. Bumrah said that the last catch was taken at short leg.
Struggled against spinners too
After this, Kohli went to the other net where the spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel were bowling, but his struggle was not over. Kohli tried to challenge Jadeja, but the star batsman missed the ball completely thrice while trying to play an inside-out shot.
