The Indian stock market closed in the green zone today i.e. Wednesday, September 25. The market opened with a fall of 100 points in the morning as well. In today's trading session, the BSE Sensex touched a new high of 85,247.42 and the National Stock Exchange Nifty touched a new high of 26032.80 points. In today's session, the market showed employment improvement from the lower levels. The Sensex saw a recovery of 500 points from its low and the Nifty saw a recovery of 161 points from the day's low. At the end of today's trading, the BSE Sensex closed 256 points up at 85,170 and the Nifty closed 64 points up at 26004.
The market made an all-time high on Tuesday
Earlier yesterday, on Tuesday, September 24, the Indian stock market had made a historic high for the fourth consecutive trading day. During trading, the Sensex touched 85,163 and the Nifty touched 26,011. However, after this the market declined and the Sensex closed 14 points lower at 84,914. At the same time, the Nifty closed at 25,940, up just 1 point.
