UP Dhaba-Restaurant New Rules: Strict action will be taken against Dhaba and restaurant operators who adulterate food items in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions in this regard. The Chief Minister held an important meeting today regarding adulteration of food items. During this, he gave many instructions.
The Chief Minister said that the human waste found in food items like juice, dal and roti is extremely disgusting. All these things are not acceptable. Now such dhabas, restaurants and eating places will be thoroughly checked. Along with this, every employee working in such food establishments will be police verified.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions to make necessary amendments in the Food Safety and Standards Act to ensure the purity of food items. According to this, it is mandatory to display the name and address of the manager, owner, manager etc. at food and beverage centers. Now it is mandatory for all chefs and waiters to wear masks and gloves.
Along with this, it is mandatory to install CCTV in hotels and restaurants. According to this order, strict action will be taken against the manager and owner if they are found mixing dirty things like human waste.
Main instructions issued by the Chief Minister………
– In recent times, incidents of adulteration of food items like juice, dal and roti with human waste, inedible, dirty substances are coming to light in various parts of the country. Such incidents are disgusting and adversely affect the health of common people. Such nefarious attempts will never be accepted. Strict measures are necessary to stop such incidents in Uttar Pradesh.
– Food and beverage establishments like Dhaba-Restaurants etc. should be inspected. An intensive state-wide campaign should be launched for verification of all the employees working there including the managers of these institutions. This action should be completed quickly by a joint team of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Police and local administration.
– The names and addresses of the managers, owners, administrators etc. should be clearly displayed at the food establishments. Necessary amendments should also be made in the Food Safety and Standards Act in this regard.
– CCTV should be arranged in food establishments like Dhabas, Hotels, Restaurants etc. Not only the seating area of the customers but also other parts of the establishment should be covered with CCTV. It should be ensured that the manager of every establishment will keep the CCTV feed safe and make it available to the police and local administration when required.
– There should be cleanliness in the food centers. It should be ensured that the concerned person compulsorily uses mask and gloves while preparing and serving food, there should be no negligence of any kind.
– The health of the common people cannot be tampered with in any way. Strict action should be taken against such attempts.' Keeping practicality in mind, the rules related to the manufacture, sale or other related activities of food should be made more stringent. There should be immediate action on violation of rules.
